- Where do my notes actually live?
- In a folder you pick, as plain markdown files. Verso reads and writes that folder; it does not hide your notes in a database.
- Does it work offline?
- Yes. Verso is offline first and every feature except sync works with no connection at all.
- What happens if I want to leave?
- Nothing needs to happen. Your notes are already plain files on your machine, so you delete the app and keep the folder.
- Do you train models on my notes?
- No. Sync is end to end encrypted, which means your notes are not readable by us even if we wanted to.
